We are very excited to invite you to a weekend of beautiful connected tango with Boris Maidanik (Buenos Aires) and Olga Metzner (London) on 3-5 April 2020!

OLGA AND BORIS

met in a tango festival some time ago and there was an immediate, beautiful tango connection. 

We shared wonderful tandas, we talked quite a lot in person and on the phone, and we built something together that we would so very much love to share with you!

A whole weekend dedicated to connection, deep, fun and emotional. We can't wait!

ABOUT BORIS: 

A fantastic teacher and dancer whose classes are always booked out. Born in Buenos Aires, Boris Maidanik gave his first tango steps at the age of 16 in the Sunderland Club in Buenos Aires at the hand of Carlitos Perez. He has also learnt from and worked with Los Totis, Silvio La Via, Julio Balmaceda and other important teachers that contributed to shaping his view and style of tango. For the last 10 years he has been teaching in different tango spaces and milongas of Buenos Aires, and various schools and festivals throughout Europe, America and Australia.

ABOUT OLGA: 

Founder and the driving force behind TangoBETTER, Olga is an well-known teacher and dancer in London and abroad. Her approach to tango is based on what is best for social dancers, and she chooses very individual approach to each student. She has intensively studied and continues to study with some of the most well-known professionals of the world, believing that exploration of dance possibilities is the key to happiness in tango. She is regularly seen all across Europe and in Buenos Aires. Olga's aim is to share the knowledge and build happier dancers.

The touch within the embrace
Explore communication and emotion within tango embrace using technical basis along with different sensibilities in touch

All Levels

A special seminar that we have been preparing for you for a long time! We will explore touch, emotions, communication, freedom and dialogue within the embrace.

 

SUNDAY, 5.04.20

Workshop 1, 1.5 hrs:

Ladies, the floor is yours!

Followers will play and express their musicality, and leaders will understand how to create and maintain that space of playfulness for their partners

15.00-16.30

All Levels

Workshop 2, 1.5 hrs:

Milongueros do it better!

If you want to feel something new, go looking into some of the old ways! We will learn a couple of movements that will bring spice to your dance

16.30-18.00

All Levels

Please contact us for more info and booking. Available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (few spaces only)

Seminar is open to couples and single dancers!
If you register alone, we might need to place you on the waiting list till we have a dancer of opposite role.

Workshops: £20 for one or £35 for both 

If you have attended the Seminar, you pay only £30 for both workshops!
