Good Hug Makes Happy is a series of 4 workshops, each focusing on a different aspect of your embrace.

Wednesdays, 8.05, 15.05, 22.05 and 29.05, 7.30 - 8.30pm
Everyone loves a good hug.
An embrace in tango is just that - a beautiful hug, in movement, to the music.
There is so much to an embrace, it's such a fundamental part of tango that we really need to look deep into it, make it really comfortable, functional and memorable! Whether you are an advanced dancer or a beginner, embrace is what unites us all. Let's make it beautiful!

And all of us commonly make mistakes, compromise or lose the connection with our partner. I often see people (leaders, followers) that have it all, but something in the embrace is missing, and I just know that they need to correct "this, this and this" and it'd be amazing! That's why I prepared this seminar, to isolate embrace from everything else and really look deep into it. Let's make it beautiful!

Basis of a comfortable and functional embrace.
The DOs' and the DON'Ts, fundamental mistakes correction.
​Wednesday, 15.05, 7.30 - 8.30pm
Embrace in linear movements.
Creating and maintaining connection.
Wednesday, 22.05, 7.30 - 8.30pm
Embrace in circular movement.
Rolling, sliding and releasing. Similarity and difference between "togetherness" and "dependence".
Wednesday, 29.05, 7.30 - 8.30pm
Changing embrace and musicality.
The How To, When and Why of opening and closing embrace. Music in our embrace and how music changes everything.
We will work for total of 4 hours, in 4 sessions, one hour each
Who: followers and leaders, ideally in couples but singles also welcome! Places limited to max. 12 participants

Recommendation: We will be building up, using info we learned in previous workshops. Therefore, it is highly recommended to book all four workshops, plus you get a £15 discount!
